How it started...

Tasty Taylor’d Spices began over 50 years ago in the kitchen of our grandparents, Mimi (Elaine Taylor) and Papaw, Ben W. Taylor, Jr. Ben, known to many as Gentle Ben, was a faithful family man, steady leader, and the one who lovingly led generations to Jesus Christ, in and outside of his God-given family. He believed in building life around faith, standing firm in family, and creating something that would bring people together. His seasoning wasn’t just a recipe. It is shaken out with life lessons. It was part of how he gathered family, welcomed others, and made room for connection, seasoning each table with blessings.
That same recipe now carries his legacy forward through his children and grandchildren, led by faith in Jesus and stewarded by his first granddaughter, Jessica Taylor, alongside his son, Eric Taylor, and more trusted family and friends. What we are building today is rooted in the same values Papaw lived by. Faith first. Family always. Flavor born in tradition, yet forged throughout generations.
Our spices are made to season more than meals. They are meant to bring people together, slow life down, and create space for conversation, laughter, and shared moments that earn their seat at the table. We believe those moments matter, and that God often shows up right here.
Guided by the Lord, Tasty Taylor’d Spices also exists to offer a hand up to those walking through hard seasons. From individuals returning home after incarceration, to those recovering from addiction, to families rebuilding after loss. We believe God redeems stories, restores purpose, and turns hardship into testimony.

This is more than flavor.
It is faith passed down.
Family carried forward.
And more...a blessing shaken from Heaven,
over meals meant to be shared.

Welcome to the Taylor table.

Then they returned, and prepared spices...
